Abstract:
Large manufacturing companies are common today. These firms have nationwide dealership networks. Live sales across all networks cannot be measured manually. We must use the internet to collect data from live dealership networks and process it in the system. Every dealer feeds data to the system, which analyzes and predicts demand.
We propose a distributed system with a company server/receiver application that communicates with dealership/client applications over the internet to get constant data feed. Client apps periodically send sales data to the server. The server receives live feeds from dealerships worldwide.
The server now sorts sales and maps them geographically to compare sales by geo, frequency, and other criteria. This aids sales tracking and demand/supply forecasting.
