Abstract:
This paper introduces a deadbeat-based SI-MIMO dc-dc converter method. The proposed method simultaneously regulates input current (ICR) and output voltage (OVR) by solving the SI-MIMO dc-dc converter cross regulation problem. The output current observers replace the output current sensors used in model-based dc-dc converter methods. ICR and OVR control methods are examined. The deadbeat-based method is tested on the single-inductor dual-input dual-output buck converter simulation platform and hardware prototype. The simulation and experimental results are examined and compared to previous studies.
