Abstract:
An ac grid-converter system’s modified sequence-domain forbidden-region-based criterion (N-FRBC) is proposed. Due to the mirror frequency symmetry of the impedance ratio matrix in modified sequence-domain, FRBC in dq-domain has fewer constraint conditions. The improved forbidden region reduces FRBC conservatism. Simulation and experimental results show that the proposed N-FRBC is effective and correct in studying ac grid-converter system stability issues.
