Abstract:
The face is the most significant bodily part since it uniquely defines a person. Biometric facial features can be used for face recognition. The hardest task in any organization is attendance tracking. Face recognition is a biometric method that checks a person’s face against a database.
This project aims to construct a face recognition-based attendance tracking system for employees to improve and upgrade the current attendance system. A well-lit environment should be used to detect the employee.
Facial recognition in the attendance tracking system ensures accuracy and prevents errors. Systematic defect resolution saves resources and reduces human intervention by assigning complex jobs to the system.
The front-end uses HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and the back-end uses Python. Django and MySQL are used. OpenCV, Dlib, and Face-Recognition are used.
