Android Local Geofence System
Abstract:
Android Local Geofence System uses GPS or RFID to define geographical boundaries. Network-based geo-fencing tracks users’ locations to detect when they enter a specific area. The user receives geofenced news notifications. It helps users overcome daily challenges. If an accident causes a traffic jam, a user can choose an alternate route. This app disables cameras and microphones upon entry, making it useful in restricted areas.
Introduction:
The Android Local Geofence System uses GPS or RFID technology to create virtual boundaries. This network-based system tracks users’ locations to determine if they’ve entered a predefined area. This technology allows the system to send location-specific news notifications, helping users overcome daily obstacles. The system also lets users carry their phones while automatically disabling camera and microphone functions in restricted areas.
Objectives:
The Android Local Geofence System tracks and detects users entering a predefined area using geo-fencing technology. The system provides timely news notifications within GPS or RFID-based virtual boundaries. This feature helps users overcome routine disruptions. The system also disables mobile phones’ cameras and microphones upon entry to comply with the area’s rules.
Project Details:
For real-time tracking, the Android Local Geofence System requires a GPS-enabled smartphone. Launching the app prompts users to set a geofence around their current location by selecting a point on the map. The system will track them within this virtual boundary. Users can also change geofence parameters to adapt the system to their needs.
The geofence actively tracks the user’s location. The application is notified immediately when the user enters or leaves the geofenced area. When entering the restricted area, the system disables the user’s smartphone’s camera and microphone. This functionality ensures compliance with museum camera and microphone bans.
Conclusion:
The Android Local Geofence System uses geo-fencing to improve user experiences and address local issues. The system sends timely news notifications to help users overcome daily challenges by accurately tracking their location. The system also lets users carry their phones in camera- or microphone-restricted areas while complying with regulations. The Android Local Geofence System is useful for location-based information and local restrictions.
