Abstract:
Moving objects are detected by comparing the current frame to a reference frame using background image logic. Using a foreground mask, background subtraction separates foreground objects from the background.
Background subtraction is commonly used to detect moving objects from static and dynamic cameras. Foreground detection is background extraction. Image processing and computer vision use foreground detection to extract the foreground for processing.
Foreground object boundaries extraction saves data processing and gives vital object information. A car on the road is the foreground and the road the backdrop. This background removal picture project reads a cluster of photographs and removes the background using removing operations.
