Abstract:
Readers may have trouble getting their books. The book’s availability, price, or print run is the issue. Sometimes people have these books, but they’re no longer interested in reading or have finished reading. Thus, we share a model to help book readers efficiently share their desired books.
ShareBook App is an android app that helps students and the public share books. It lets users share books they no longer need. Users can buy or sell books.
The android admin can log in to see the app’s users. Administrators can block and unblock users. They can also view user-added books for auction.
Register first to log in. Log in to see their profile. They can change the password anytime. If a user wants to buy a book, they can search for the name or description other users added. They can add or remove books. After buying a book, users can view its list, details, and status. If the user wants to sell a rare or limited-edition book or comic, they can auction it online.
Add, update, view, and delete any book. Other interested users can bid on the auctioned book. View the bid list and auction winner. Users can also bid on other auctions. This project uses XML and SQLite. Android Studio is used.
