Abstract:
Modern societies value democracy. Democratic elections are crucial. Inactive citizens, fraud attempts, and other disturbances make it a delicate process. Voting remains a security issue.
To solve elections, we created a Python Online Election System. Web-based voting makes elections easy and secure. Elections can use this voting system. This system lets voters vote without going to the polls. They can vote online. The system works anywhere. It can also be used for corporate and society elections.
Admins can log in. They can edit, view, and delete elections. They must add candidates. Admins can verify election results. Voter lists and election details are accessible. They can verify election results and candidate statistics.
Login requires registration. They can update their profile and password. They can view ongoing elections and details. They can see candidate information and vote. Voters can’t vote again. Results show inactive elections.
They can also verify election results, candidates, and winners. Html, CSS, JavaScript, and Python make up this system’s front and back ends. MySQL Database and Django Framework are used.
