Abstract:
You’ve waited at a train station for someone without knowing the train’s arrival time many times. Railway Tracking and Arrival Time Prediction is our project. This system provides train timing, on-time status, and other information. This system will track the train’s departure time from a station and pass it to another station’s system, which will display the train’s departure time. The system will automatically update train timing in the next station if signal delays occur.
In this system, an admin module enters train information and timing, which is sent to an internet server and fetched by other stations. Another system displays train information on platforms. Second system will get all train data but automatically select station-specific data and display it. If an admin at Mumbai station enters Delhi station information, Chennai station will not be affected, but Delhi station will show train information.
This system works like this: when a train departs late from a station, admin enters details about departure and time, which goes in real time on internet server and is retrieved on other system through internet server and displayed on screen. Every station master has a login to update train arrival time when it arrives. This second Viewers can access the system at various station locations. Admin will add train departure, arrival, schedule delay, etc. This project sends real-time train schedule events to multiple client applications.
