Abstract:
As e-commerce grows exponentially, so do transactions and participants. All participant interactions occur in an open network, making sensitive information vulnerable to unauthorized users.
Sensitive transactions should be secured because e-commerce interactions are anonymous. The system uses AES, MD5, and DES for this. AES and DES encrypt the plaintext, while MD5 generates the key.
