Abstract:
Fatigue causes 20% of road accidents, according to major studies. Drowsy Many road accidents are caused by drivers falling asleep and losing control. Before a crisis, fatigue and drowsiness can be detected. Driver drowsiness detection prevents car accidents.
In this project, we aim to design and develop driver drowsiness detection using image processing to detect whether the driver is fatigued and sleepy. If the driver’s eyes are closed for more than 20 seconds, the system’s speaker will sound an alert to wake him up and prevent an accident.
