E Authentication System Using QR Code & OTP
Abstract:
The QR Code and OTP E Authentication System provides secure and easy login. This system protects login credentials from shoulder surfing and accidental logins. The proposed scheme protects user data by analyzing its security and usability. This system requires basic registration. After registering, users can log in using their email and password. Users then choose between QR Code and OTP authentication. The system generates and emails a unique QR Code if the QR Code option is selected. If the user prefers OTP, a one-time password is texted to their registered mobile number. After authentication, the system redirects to the homepage. The login process generates the QR Code and OTP randomly.

Introduction:
The E Authentication System using QR Code and OTP solves the problems of username-password combinations. Shoulder surfing—observing a user’s password as it is entered—is a common attack. Secure systems with varying shoulder surfing resistance have been proposed to combat this threat. This article discusses the scheme’s security and usability.

Project Details:
E Authentication System login and authentication require several steps. User registration requires basic information. The database secures these details. Users can login after registering.
Users log in with their email address and password. The system authenticates credentials. After authentication, users choose between QR Code and OTP authentication.
The QR Code option generates a unique QR Code for the user’s account. This QR Code is emailed to the user. Login verification is secure with the QR Code.

OTP authentication is another option. The user’s mobile number is texted a one-time password. The OTP is a one-time login.
The main page opens after the user authenticates and validates the QR Code or OTP. The authenticated user enters the system through this page.
Conclusion:
The QR Code and OTP E Authentication System is fast and secure. This system protects user credentials by addressing password-based and shoulder surfing vulnerabilities. QR Code and OTP two-factor authentication improves security and usability. Users can trust this system to protect their data and use its resources.
