Abstract:
We proposed automated fracture detection methods. Manually examining X-rays is time-consuming and error-prone. We preprocessed X-ray images to remove noise and blur. Thus, system detects fractures better. System detects fracture type.
To detect fractures, noise is removed and image is clarified. Image processing tracked bone. The system removes unwanted and smaller items.
Finally, system detects fracture from connected component. System shows fracture bounding box. This system preprocesses images and detects fracture types. The proposed system can detect bone dislocation 80% of the time, major fracture 60-70%, and minor fracture 50-60%.
