Abstract:

Cab service is the most commonly used example of a fundamental requirement for everyday living. Finding a taxi or car service driver that is willing to charge a reasonable rate might be challenging. The driver and the other passengers in the vehicle frequently argue with one another and end up miscommunicating, which brings a stop to many trips.

The Digital Fare Meter is characterized by qualities such as accurate reading, ease of installation, high durability, and compatibility with a wide variety of systems. End-users have a strong preference for the digital fare meters due to the little amount of maintenance that is required for them.

When drivers make use of a digital fare meter system, it will be much simpler for them to acquire an automatically computed fee for the travel of each individual passenger.
This project is built on the flutter framework and is developed in the Dart programming language. Dart is a programming language that was developed by Google and is maintained by the company. Flutter is a framework that may be used across several platforms for the development of high-performance mobile applications.

A username and password are required in order for the taxi driver to log in to the system with this system. In addition, if it is their first time using this program, the taxi driver will need to register before they can sign in.

The driver is required to specify both the departure point and the final destination for each new journey. The system will then display the route on the map, along with the cost and the amount of time it will take. To navigate, it will immediately take you to the Google Maps app on your device.

After the driver has arrived at the location where the passenger will be, he or she will have to decide “how the passenger paid for the trip,” determining whether the payment was made in cash or via an electronic payment system. The user has the ability to examine a list of all of their journeys and then filter that list by date.
