Abstract:
Most nations want to cut greenhouse gas emissions. Some governments have tried hard to fix this. Saudi Arabia has invested heavily in renewable energy (RE) sources. Consumers should build small RE systems. Small grids will help people meet their daily electricity needs. They can resell excess. RE distribution and sales are major issues. Blockchain-based peer-to-peer networks can overcome several obstacles to implementing a distributed RE management system (DREMS). However, several obstacles may prevent its execution. Productivity and scalability are key. Energy consumers will increase Blockchain transactions. This will delay response significantly. Understanding the renewable distributed energy system will reduce these roadblocks. Thus, this study examines RE system installation methods and Blockchain technology. It solves DREMS needs. It proposes a Blockchain-based DREMS framework. selects framework protocols. It compares the proposed protocols to the requirements.
