Abstract:
This project aims to automate toll collecting utilizing RF & µC. Every toll collecting center will have RF receiver-PC interface.Each vehicle passing through this toll collection center will receive an RF Tx to broadcast its identity.
The PC’s database will contain vehicle data. Vehicle no., account status, etc. RF Rx at toll collection center receives vehicle data and deducts toll according to tariff. A C# database will be created. The RF Rx will consume µC. Programming for µC will be in ‘C’. For security, a camera will be put at the toll collection facility to take vehicle or driver photos.
