Abstract:
Maintaining confidentiality in cyberspace is essential. Information hiding matters. Steganography hides a hidden file in a normal-looking one. Steganography comes from the Greek words “steganos” (covered or concealed) and “graphia” (writing). Steganography helps maintain confidentiality and authentication.
Steganography is implemented in our simple Android-Based Image Steganography system. Images are steganographically encrypted to hide text messages in this project. The system conceals information and communicates secretly while ensuring confidentiality and authenticity.
Our Android-Based Image Steganography has 1 module: User.
The user can encode and decode secret messages. Registering is required to log in. User logs in after successful registration. Uploading an image, text message, encryption method, and key adds a process to the list. This uses AES and DES encryption. You can also delete any process. Share the process ID or encrypted picture with other users.
Two approaches decode shared communications. Users must submit process IDs and keys to share processes. Sharing a photograph requires uploading and entering its key.
XML is used for the front end and MSSQL for the back end. A programming language is Java. The IDE is Android Studio.
