Abstract:
College students have trouble communicating with professors and faculties due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has stopped us from visiting the college to get our questions answered, so we need to find a new way. Since faculty and students may use different messaging apps, it is hard for the college to get important messages to everyone.
To solve this problem, we created an android-based College Connect Chat application where students and teachers can stay connected on a single platform, allowing students to stay in touch with faculty and quickly solve their problems. Thus, this android app will allow students to stay in touch with classmates and professors without being in class.
This system provides a forum for teachers and faculty to discuss issues. The College Admin creates student and faculty profiles. There are four forums:
- College—students and faculty can participate and admin can add events and circulars.
- Department – all department students and faculty can participate.
- Year—all students can participate.
- Sections—all students can join.
