Abstract:
Combining cyberspace’s physical and virtual realities will shape networking’s future. Due to ambient pandemic challenges, virtual and augmented reality will evolve into the Metaverse of Things, where each person, thing, or other entity will exist in multiple synchronized realities. This paper proposes a novel metaverse application framework for multiple synchronized data flows from multiple operators through multiple wearable devices with different quality requirements. A data flow-specific utility function underpins a new service quality model. In a decentralized mobile network, non-fungible tokens are used for dynamic fine-grained data flow allocation and service selection.
