Abstract:
In this research, we investigate how business intelligence about a website might be derived from user access data rather than web logs of “hits.” These records are kept by the website itself. Implementing a data mining technique on the website allows for the collection of access records pertaining to users.
The user will often only explore those goods in which he has some level of interest. Using an algorithm for data mining, this system will record the user’s typical browsing behavior. This program is a web application that allows users to access different resources that are located on the website. In return for a password, users will register their profiles on the website.
In order for the user to access the system, the user will be given a user ID and a password. After successfully logging in to the system, the user will have access to various resources that are located on the website. When clicking on one of the updated links to the website’s resources, information about the user’s access to those resources will now be stored in the database.
This modification was made to the links. In this manner, data mining may be carried out on a collection of access records relating to the users that is relatively uncluttered. When a user clicks on specific resources on the website, the system will gather his access records.
This is something that can be accomplished with the assistance of the data mining technique that is utilized in this system. Product-based organizations may learn about the demand for their various items by utilizing this application, which will provide this information.
Using this approach, the firm will be able to better target the appropriate customers. Using this strategy will assist product-based businesses in maintaining positive relationships with their clients.
Therefore, it is possible to gather a significant amount of business intelligence on the actions and preferences of website visitors, as well as information regarding the popularity of the resources (products) offered by the website.
