Python Blockchain Projects

Abstract:

Data flows from the first node, where it is initiated, to the last node, where it is processed and stored. Due to the number of participants, pipeline dataflow integrity must be protected. We propose SIGNORA because previous studies have solved this problem, but an untrusted data pipeline has not been addressed. Our dataflow integrity solution uses a chain of signatures and blockchain receipt. Participants’ signatures guarantee non-repudiation, and the blockchain receipt of the data and signature hash guarantees non-tampering. SIGNORA also provides reliable identity management, solves trust and accountability issues through a reputation system, supports multiple devices through multiple cryptographic algorithms (ECDSA, EdDSA, RSA, and HMAC), and off-chain processing. Our experiments show that SIGNORA can provide dataflow integrity in multiple data payload size scenarios with reasonable overhead. Smart contract cost analysis and off-chain transaction cost reduction solutions have also been examined. Finally, the reputation system can increase nodes’ scores when they are honest and decrease them when they are inactive. SIGNORA can hold untrusted collaborators accountable.
