Abstract:

In wireless communications, VANETs are popular. Intelligent sensors in VANETs collect real-time data from inside and surrounding vehicles. Real-time data need powerful computation, processing, and storage.

VANETs cannot manage real-time data due to OBU storage limitations. Vehicular cloud computing (VCC) technology combines a VANET with cloud computing to overcome this limitation. VCC can manage real-time services like road-critical video surveillance data.

Real-time video surveillance data is highly sensitive and should be protected from network intruders because data manipulation, alteration, or sniffing can harm drivers by impairing decision-making. VCC struggles to protect real-time video surveillance data.

This project examined VCC real-time video data security and privacy. We introduce VANETs and their limitations. Second, VCC’s real-time video data taxonomy is cutting-edge. Next, real-time video surveillance data in 5G and 6G networks is discussed. Finally, VCC real-time video data challenges and issues are discussed.
