Abstract:

Intelligent transportation systems can use VANETs, a new technology. Routing protocols ensure VANET network reliability. RAMO is a new framework for VANETs routing.

The framework has three levels: VANET system simulation, routing criteria based on reliability and geometry, and routing algorithm. Next is the network. An optimization block controls the parameters of the reliability, geometrical, and routing blocks.

A novel multi-objective harmony searching variant is used to optimize. EGMHS includes objective decomposition, harmony memory extraction, and Gaussian mutation.

Two levels were assessed. EGMHS used nine benchmarking mathematical functions, while RAMO used the network simulator. EGMHS outperforms RAMO in set coverage, delta metric, hyper-volume, packet delivery ratio (PDR), and end-to-end (E2E) delay.
