Cloud Computing Projects

Abstract:

Military and government agencies are becoming more interested in fog computing. The Internet-of-Things (IoT) and society’s interconnectivity contribute to this. Fog computing deployment requires privacy protection.

This paper introduces fog-based access filter (FAF), a privacy-preserving multi-layer access filtering model for fog computing. Access filter initialization, optimal privacy-energy-time, and tuple reduction algorithms make up FAF. Hierarchical classification distinguishes protection objectives. Our experiments show that FAF optimizes privacy and computational costs.
