Abstract:
We present a system that can be used with any current mobile phone system to provide location-based information/advertisements to any Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone without client side software.
This graduate project describes mobile-based data broadcast architecture. It suits entertainment plazas, theaters, and shopping malls. Set up terminals at the entrance and inside the mall or premises to transmit data to all mobile devices.
This architecture makes everything more dynamic and personal. Bluetooth-enabled services let visitors download this data. Movie theaters can use this method to promote upcoming and current films.
