Learning Disability Detector and Classifier System

Abstract:

The Python-based Learning Disability Detector and Classifier System identifies and classifies student learning disabilities. Learning disabilities, also called learning disorders, are brain conditions that impair information comprehension and processing. Different causes can cause these disabilities.

Introduction:

Education shapes children’s worldviews. However, learning disabled students often struggle with traditional teaching methods and fall behind their peers. The Learning Disability Detector and Classifier System uses machine learning to assess and personalize learning materials for learning disabled students.

Objectives:

This project seeks to accurately identify and classify student learning disabilities. The system evaluates user performance and identifies weaknesses using a series of tests. Results-based exercises help students overcome learning challenges.

Project Details:

The Learning Disability Detector and Classifier System uses the Django Framework, a high-level Python web framework known for its efficiency and versatility. This project uses Python, which has many machine learning libraries and tools.

User responses in a user module detect and classify learning disabilities. A form with dropdown menus containing dataset attributes starts the detection process. The “Age” dropdown may include 10-15, 20-40, etc. The system returns “LD detected” or “No LD detected” based on the input.

If a learning disability is detected, the user is redirected to a test page with five tests: math, grammar, reading, memory, and scenario. These tests evaluate learning skills. The system provides customized exercises for test failures.

Conclusion:

The Learning Disability Detector and Classifier System is an innovative solution for learning disabled students. This Python-based project accurately detects and classifies learning disabilities using machine learning algorithms to customize learning materials. This system empowers students and helps them overcome learning difficulties through comprehensive assessment and personalized exercises.
