Abstract:
Globalization and technological advancement have increased production and counterfeit goods availability. It hurts sales, reputation, and revenue and kills unsuspecting customers.
Fake Barcode Product Identification Dotnet’s Blockchain Technology System identifies fake products. In the proposed system, we assign a barcode to a manufacturer’s product with all its details, and the customer can scan it to get all the product’s information. User can verify product authenticity by scanning barcode.
Our product anti-counterfeiting solution is simple, accurate, and affordable. It has Admin and User modules. The admin can edit, view, and delete products. Along with seller information, they must include product information like Product Serial Id, Date of Manufacture, Origin, Expiry Date, etc. The admin sees fake entries.
Logging in requires registration. Scan the product’s barcode to verify its authenticity. If it detects the product, the user will see its details. Fake barcodes alert users that the product is fake. If no product is found, the user can upload a photo and details to admin.
To prevent product data manipulation, all details are saved in a block. Html, CSS, JavaScript, and MSSQL make up this project’s front and back ends. Uses Visual Studio.
