Abstract:
Many people take buses to work, school, or college. Frequent commuters prefer bus passes because they are cheaper and more convenient. However, renewing the pass often requires travelers to wait in long lines, making it inconvenient and negating the pass’s benefits. To receive benefits, passengers must show their pass daily.
Paper passes are easy to forge. Bus operators lost a lot of business. This Android Bus Pass Management System simplifies bus pass management for passengers and operators. Passengers can pay for their pass renewal through the app. The app stores the renewed pass for convenience.
This system’s user-friendly interface makes it more accessible. Thus making technology accessible to tech-phobes. Bus pass users must register. Passes can be created or renewed.
Select source, destination, pass duration, and payment method to create a new Pass. This app uses multiple payment methods for demonstration purposes. The user can download their pass to show to an authorized person for travel validation without logging in or worrying about internet connection.
