Abstract:
This Android software looks for places by entering a keyword and efficiently finding them. Users can also add missing sites to the map by providing details with this app. GIS for Tourist is an Android software that lets users manually enter new destinations’ names, areas, locations, phone numbers (if applicable), and images.
A user can add a missing location to a map and capture and input an image file while filling up the details. After entering all the information, the software smartly finds the location. Application may automatically search location.
If program cannot retrieve a location, user can add a pin on map. User can request the program to add the desired location to the map after filling out all the details. This software also lets you find nearby or global locations. After finding a place, the map displays its name, region, location, phone number, and kilometers from the user.
