Abstract:
With the rise of Internet and e-commerce, the number of shopping websites has grown significantly, making online purchasing easy. Due to self-filtering and comparison, consumers spend a lot of time searching for commodities.
Recently, parity websites have let shoppers acquire cheaper goods. These websites can help users find commodity parity prices, however the search results are poor. These websites may have issues with the commodity between search results and consumers’ searches or the commodity price between search results and commodity web pages. So, this study uses web mining as a starting point.
This study presents a revolutionary commodity search method to track consumer demand. When a website’s commodity price is lower than consumer price conditions, the system notifies customers. This study found that the novel commodity search engine might help consumers find commodities and give historical price data for decision-making.
