Abstract:
Anyone sick who wants a checkup must go to the hospital and wait for a doctor. The patient waits in line for an appointment. If the doctor cancels the appointment for emergency reasons, the patient won’t know until they visit the hospital. All parties find this tedious.
We created our Python-Based Doctor Appointment Booking System to solve appointment scheduling issues. The system makes online doctor appointment booking easier for patients and others. The ability to examine booking slots and choose a date and time is also effective.
This project uses Python for the back end and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the front end. MySQL is the database and Django is the framework. Admins can log in with credentials. They can add, update, delete, and view doctors. Patient IDs and names allow them to view patient records and past treatments. The admin can filter dates to see appointment data. They can also review patient feedback.
Doctors check on with their credentials. Profile management and password changes are available. They can filter dates to see appointment specifics. They can search for a patient by name or ID. They can see all patient information and treatment history. Patients can receive additional therapies.
The patient must register to log in. Logging in lets patients manage their profile and change passwords. They can select a doctor, date, and time to schedule an appointment. All booking history appointments are visible. They can even cancel appointments anytime. They can find doctors by name, type, or location. They can see doctor info. They can also advise admin. They can see doctor-added therapy specifics.
