Abstract:
The Smart Cab Barcode system is designed to improve the level of service that is offered to both passengers and taxi drivers. You can travel and pay using your travel card if the smart cab barcode is used, and this card will be used for all of the payment regardless of where you go.
Within this location, we have an Admin who is able to register Drivers to this system by inputting details as well as an image of the Driver. The administrator will also register users in the system using the user’s personal information and image.
Once registered, the user will receive a one-time use code as well as a traveler’s card bearing this one-time use code, which he can use to make payments in the future. The Admin also has rights, so he can view all the details of both the User and the Driver if there is a balance in the User’s account.
In this scenario, the driver’s job is to simply scan the user’s card and enter the amount as well as the pick-up and drop-off locations. Once this is done, the amount will be subtracted from the user’s account and added to the driver’s account.
The driver would be able to view the history of his transactions, even for a particular day. In addition, the user has the ability to view specifics regarding his past journeys and to add funds to their accounts using online payment methods.
