Abstract:
All colleges have used manual attendance for years. Manual attendance is time-consuming and often inaccurate. Maintaining pen-and-paper attendance sheets is difficult. We propose an android app-based attendance monitoring system.
This Android app will access a remote database. This application can access the database via GPRS or Wi-Fi. Our mobile app will be simple. Teacher smartphones will have this attendance system. It aims to give teachers a simple interface for marking attendance in a class.
The app also supports strong user authentication and fast internet data transmission. The application connects lecturers to the server. They’ll take attendance on their phones after logging.
