Project Ideas

Abstract:

Security breaches threaten national confidential data or private data of an organization or person. Text-based security passwords are most common. However, these passwords can be easily cracked, exposing private data. With cybercrime rising, login and access security concerns are a serious worry. Additionally, single security authentication is insufficient to defend you from cyberattacks.

To strengthen security, we built a Three-Level Password Authentication system to ensure only authorized users can access the system or data. Three-level logins with three password schemes are used in this system.

The project has a passphrase, image-based segmentation password, and graphical password. The password difficulty increases with each level, securing access. In this approach, our PHP-based Three Level Authentication System would protect users’ data from hackers and cyber dangers.

During registration, users will be requested to set up three levels of passwords for security: texted, image-based, and graphical. User must login to check security with three-level password authentication. As users enter passwords, the first level authenticates them by matching the data stored in the database upon registration. The second and third levels authenticate the passwords.
