Abstract:
Visual Cryptography (VC) voting mechanism allows for secret internal business choices. It allows remote voting. The election is held in full confidentially by employing appropriate security measures to allow voters to vote for any participating candidate only if they log into the system and input the exact password formed by combining the two shares using VC technique.
Before elections, administrator sends share 1 to voter email id and shares 2 to voting system login during elections. Combining share 1 and share 2 with VC gives the voter the secret password to vote. An individual or group phishes unsuspecting victims for personal information.
Fake websites that look like the real ones are hosted to do this. Internet voting raises concerns about security, privacy, secrecy, stakeholder involvement, and process observation. A new voting method prevents phishing assaults.
