By doing away with the need for manual attendance tracking, this android mobile app saves time, effort, and paper resources. Faculty members can use the system to make attendance sheets, record student attendance, store the information on their mobile devices, and send it to a central server for further management. The traditional attendance system is being revolutionized by this project, which also encourages effective attendance management.
Introduction:
It can be laborious and time-consuming to take attendance in educational settings. By offering a mobile app that lets faculty members take attendance using their smartphones, the Mobile Based Attendance System is created to address these issues. Objective:
The main goal of this project is to create a mobile-based attendance system that streamlines paperwork, automates the taking of attendance process, and enhances overall attendance management. The system gives faculty members the ability to make attendance sheets and mark student attendance using an android mobile app, store the information on their phones, and send it to a central server for simple access and management.
Project Details:
The system is divided into the following modules:
- Making an Attendance List for Students: Using the mobile app, instructors can make an attendance list for their students by entering their names, roll numbers, and the date. The foundation for recording attendance is this data.
- Marking attendance is simple for faculty members. They just need to choose the appropriate roll number and mark the student as present or absent.
- Storage for attendance: The faculty member’s mobile phone securely stores the attendance information, making it available for anytime access and review. Physical attendance registers are no longer required as a result of this.
- Transfer of Attendance Sheet Data: The system enables Bluetooth-based attendance data transfer to a central server. This guarantees that the data is centrally stored and that the administration of the school or college can access and manage it.
