Abstract:
The rapid development and deployment of Cellular V2X (C-V2X) require a highly reliable support system for many vehicular key applications. The hidden terminal problem and half-duplex issue make the standard sensing-based semi-persistent scheduling (SB-SPS) protocol unreliable.
This project proposes a reliable self-adaptive C-V2X Mode 4 (autonomous sidelink) MAC protocol. It exclusively schedules resource blocks in two-hop neighbors using frame information and RSSI and dynamically adjusts scheduling and frame length to network changes. Simulations show that the proposed protocol outperforms SB-SPS and IEEE 802.11p in PDR and packet collisions.
