Abstract:
Pesticide lamps Pest control using ILs-IoTs for green agriculture has garnered attention. If fixed on the ground, ILs-IoTs cannot solve the migratory pest outbreak.
In this project, we embed ILs in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) as mobile nodes that can be quickly landed on the ground to kill agricultural pests. The Internet of UAVs (IoUAV) is introduced to expand the application of ILs-IoTs.
We solve the target-barrier coverage problem to maximize the use of IL-IoUAVs. Using the realistic probabilistic sensing model of IL-UAVs, we study how to guarantee -target-barrier coverage while minimizing the number of UAVs. An optimal algorithm merges multiple target-barriers. Our -target-barrier coverage algorithms perform well in evaluations.
