Abstract:
Edge computing processes data locally instead of in the cloud. Blockchain can secure edge computing data. An edge server’s data storage request should be a blockchain transaction with the data owner’s signature.
A blockchain threshold ring signature can protect data owner privacy. This article proposes a flexible threshold ring signature scheme in chronological order to solve the update and chronological problems.
Our nontrivial signature scheme has unforgeability, anonymity, and chronological sorting. Our scheme is proven without random oracles and tested on the Intel Edison development platform simulating edge servers.
