Abstract:

IoT has been a hot topic lately. In IoT, blockchain is trusted, reliable, and decentralized. The blockchain’s drawbacks prevent it from being a generic IoT platform. IoT nodes lack computing and networking resources.

Unfortunately, the blockchain needs them to solve complex puzzles and propagate blocks. This paper proposes agent mining and cloud mining solutions for the blockchain-enabled IoT. Miners act as IoT node mining agents, offload mining tasks to cloud computing servers, and use networking resources dynamically.

To improve performance, user access selection, computing resource allocation, and networking resource allocation are formulated as joint optimization problems. To solve this, we propose dueling deep reinforcement learning. Numerical results prove our scheme works.
