Cloud Computing Projects

Abstract:

Many customers store multiple copies of outsourced data on multiple cloud servers for durability and availability. Provable data possession (PDP) protocols for multi-copies ensure integrity. However, most previous PDP protocols store all copies on one cloud storage server.

Multi-copy makes little sense here. Many PDP protocols use public key infrastructure (PKI), which is insecure and expensive to communicate and compute. A multi-copy identity-based PDP scheme on multiple cloud storage servers improves security and efficiency.

Our system sends all copies to different cloud storage servers that share customer data. Homomorphic verifiable tags check all copies simultaneously. The paper describes our scheme’s system and security models. The computation Diffie-Hellman (CDH) hard problem secures our scheme. Our scheme is efficient and practical. First identity-based PDP scheme for multi-copy and multi-cloud servers.
