Abstract:

Search engines are essential for finding information online. Most search engines provide standardized results regardless of user settings. This project creates a unique online search system that tailors results to user choices to overcome this constraint. A tailored search agent with a Self-Organizing Map (SOM) can improve browsing. This article describes the bespoke web search project and its advantages.

Introduction:

Conventional search engines give all users the same results, regardless of their priorities or opinions. This method may include unrelated documents, wasting browsing time. The custom web search project personalizes search results to address this issue. The project uses a Self-Organizing Map and an intelligent method to improve web searches.

Objective:

This project aims to create a customised web search system. Each user’s Self-Organizing Map optimizes search and delivers more relevant and personalised information.

Project Details:

The custom web search project’s clever search system uses J2EE technology. A personalized search agent with a Self-Organizing Map (SOM) for each user is the system’s core. Based on user preferences, the SOM neural network organizes and maps search results. The SOM evolves and learns to identify the user’s favorite query elements and aspects by evaluating search history. The system can then create results that match the user’s interests.

Conclusion:

Offering customised search results, the custom online search project intends to change search engine usage. The technology customizes information based on each user’s Self-Organizing Map, making surfing more efficient and enjoyable.
