Abstract:
Due to high kidnapping rates, parents worry about their children. Long working hours mean parents spend less time with their kids. Before school, kidnappers will convince them. Thus, schools must care for their students and notify parents if they are absent at school start time.
Our RFID-based school security system alerts parents to their children’s in- and out-times and arrivals, ensuring their safety. RFID technology makes student tracking easy, improving zone security. A web-based system will record student bus and campus arrival and departure times. This system lets parents request leaves.
After initial analysis, computerizing the entire activity is recommended due to system anomalies. Admin, Parent, and School Authority access the proposed system.
To use the android app, admin must log in with valid credentials. After logging in, the admin can manage all modules and tasks. Admin can add class details, register new students with basic and academic details, create login credentials for parents, update or delete student details, and view student IN and OUT times.
Parents must use the admin’s ID and password. Parents can see their kids’ details and IN/OUT times. Parents can request child-related leaves.
Arriving students’ RFID tags will be scanned by school staff. Student arrival and departure will be recorded. This system uses XML and MSSQL. It’s Java. IDE was Android Studio.
