Abstract:
Graphical Password Authentication System using an Intuitive Approach is a new authentication method that overcomes text-based password scheme limitations. Stronger authentication methods are needed in this age of increasing interconnectivity and information security. This project uses graphical passwords for secure and easy authentication.
Introduction:
Digital platforms and online services have made data security a top concern. Text-based passwords have been the main authentication method, but they have weaknesses. Password crackers target users who choose simple, short passwords. Thus, secure, convenient authentication methods are needed.
Objectives:
The Graphical Password Authentication System using an Intuitive Approach aims to create a secure and easy-to-use authentication system that overcomes traditional password schemes. Users can make secure, easy-to-remember passwords with graphics. The authentication process should be simple and secure.
Project Details:
Graphical Password Authentication System has three authentication levels to secure user accounts. Create an account by entering a username and email address. Users can log in with their username and password after registering.
The first authentication level requires users to order pictures to create a password. This method uses the user’s visual memory to make password cracking harder.
The system requires username and password authentication in the second level. This ensures that even if an attacker gets the graphical password, they still need the right username.
The third authentication level adds two-factor authentication or biometric verification. This boosts system security and gives users confidence.
Conclusion:
The Graphical Password Authentication System using an Intuitive Approach is a secure and easy-to-use alternative to text-based password schemes. Graphical elements improve security and user convenience. Multi-factor authentication protects against unauthorized access. This project improves information security by replacing passwords with an innovative authentication method.
