Abstract:
Based on cloud infrastructure, we present a unique and simple local train ticketing concept for effective and reliable ticketing. Users can register and receive a unique ID. Tickets for western, central, and harbor lines are priced by station distance. Also read: Android Smart Ticketing System using RFID
A cloud server can handle many users with efficient computer resources. It efficiently and quickly computes ticket charges for several users. Users’ accounts are debited for this sum. Account can be recharged by admin. Also read: RFID Based Automatic Traffic Violation Ticketing
- Admin account: Admin can manage and recharge users’ accounts from his login.
- Member login/registration: New users can signup and login.
- New users receive a unique id when they register.
- The system keeps track of each member’s account and balance.
- When a user recharges through an admin, the account balance is updated.
- Ticketing: Users can buy single or return tickets based on source-destination station distance.
- Users can also book western central and harbor line tickets.
