Abstract:
Users can book and receive local train tickets online with this project. The local rail project allows admin and regular users to login. Normal users can login, print, and take the train. Tickets are booked via a form.
The form lets users select source and destination. Source is the train station where the user will board. Destination is his stop. The project database contains Mumbai western central and harbor line stations. It can be adapted for other cities.
The system lets users choose a single or return ticket and first or second class. Also included is an admin account. The admin can recharge user accounts and examine system-processed journey tickets.
