Abstract:
Due to its benefits, image processing has made traffic sign detection and recognition important. Self-driving cars have also piqued interest in this field.
Traffic sign detection and recognition is crucial for driver assistance and driverless cars. Many road signs go unnoticed. They may see traffic or road signs often but don’t know what they mean. Our Traffic Sign Recognition System recognizes road signs from images and videos. CNN will recognize signs live. Deep CNN is used to develop autonomous traffic or road sign detection.
This system detects traffic signs by uploading an image. It recognizes uploaded videos. To detect real-time traffic signs, users must turn on their device camera and click the camera button.
The system shows traffic sign names. It also shows the prediction’s accuracy probability. Html, CSS, JavaScript, and Python make up the front- and back-ends. Django runs on MySQL.
We implemented CNN here. Kaggle’s Traffic Sign dataset. This system can be implemented on a vehicle to make it a real-time sign detector.
