Text Translation App Using Google API
Abstract:
Language has long hindered communication and information transfer. Language interpreters are ineffective and expensive. Tutors can be expensive and inefficient when learning a new language. We created an Android-based Java project to help language learners and translators communicate.
Introduction:
Globalization requires multilingualism. Language barriers hinder communication. Interpreters must understand and speak both languages, making the process complicated and time-consuming. This method failed to bridge language gaps.
Language variations make teaching and learning new languages difficult. Tutoring can be expensive and ineffective for language learning. We created a stress-free language learning and translation solution to overcome these limitations.
Objectives:
Our project aims to create an Android app that uses the Google Translate API for seamless language translation and learning. Our app supports over 100 languages using the neural machine translation (NMT) model in the Google Translation API, bridging linguistic communities.
Project Details:
Our Java-based Android app uses the Google Translate API to translate text and messages into the user’s language. Google Translation API accurately translates English text into Marathi.
Google Translation API’s NMT model’s recognition engine recognizes languages accurately. Users can type in Hindi, Marathi, or any other language. The app can also translate spoken text into the selected language, making it more versatile and user-friendly.
Users must install a language keyboard to type in it. This ensures accurate and efficient language input, improving translation.
Conclusion:
Our Java-based Android language translation app solves linguistic issues. Our app seamlessly translates text and messages using Google Translate’s powerful API and neural machine translation capabilities. This project helps people learn languages and communicate without stress. Our Translation App improves global communication with its simple interface and multilingual support.
