Abstract:
In order to increase the volume of audio playing devices, audio amplifiers are now commonly employed. A high-quality amplifier will boost the volume without negatively impacting the sound quality coming from the speaker.
However, a not so good amplifier would interfere with the quality of the sound and so the output of the speaker will be distorted.
The goal of this project is to use a Matlab interface to assess the audible frequency response of audio amplifiers and to plot their amplitude versus frequency curves (Bode plots). The user can determine if the amplifier is suitable for usage based on visual inspection of the graph.
