Project Ideas

Abstract:

College library management electronically manages and stores book information for students. The system helps students and library staff track all library books. It lets admins and students find books. Colleges must monitor book returns and calculate fines. Manually doing this is tedious and error-prone.

Allowing the system to track issue date, last date to return the book, and fine information avoids these errors by eliminating the need to manually track this information.
Thus, this system reduces manual work and eliminates detail errors to streamline library operations.

Modules:

  • Admin login: Admin adds and removes e-books.
  • User login: Students create accounts by registering. After registering, they can login with their 10-digit mobile number and email address.
  • Add and Update Books: The admin can enter and update book details.
  • Search option: Admin and Students can search by book name.
  • The admin can view book order.
  • Place order—Students can order books and reduce their quantity.
  • Calculate Fine—Students can view the book’s issue and expiry dates and calculate fine.
